How to Break In Your Wedding Shoes:
Breaking in wedding shoes takes time. Ever wear a pair of brand new heels and go out on the town, and ripping off your shoes immediately when you get home? Blisters are no fun and neither are sore feet, so how can you break in your wedding shoes before the big night?
Start by wearing your wedding shoes on different surfaces
This is critical as the day of may cover different surfaces such as grass, carpet, marble floors, hardwood floors, etc.
Stand in your wedding shoes while not moving (as you would up at the altar)
This will help you get used to standing in one place in your new kicks! Many shoes are tough to stand in for long periods of time, however, you can get a good gauge on how that may feel the day of.
Wear you wedding shoes around the house in 30 minute increments
This should be easy as you can wear your wedding shoes as you get ready in the mornings before work. Often times, we rush around in the mornings, walking around the house, and this would be perfect for breaking in wedding shoes. You can also wear them while you vacuum the house.
